The Literature of Ed Bianchi - Updated 10-February-2006

For almost as long as there have been slot cars, Ed Bianchi has been taking them apart and putting them back together in strange and wondrous ways. He is the inventor of the Slide-Guide © and founder of HO RacePro North America. Ed is an accomplished writer, whose articles have appeared in many slot car magazines.

During the 1996 Christmas season Ed wrote a wonderful short story loosely based on Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol” to share with the HO Slot Car Distribution List. Ed has graciously made it available here for everyone to enjoy.

'A Slot Car Carol' is the sole property of 'HO RacePro North America', and may be reproduced and distributed for free by anyone who thinks it's a hoot.

All events and characters depicted are fictitious, except for a few real characters, that is, characters who we suspect are real, and probably won't object strongly enough to hire a lawyer.

The producers wish to thank The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Janet Reno, The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Interpol, America Online and Bill Gates, without whose lack of vigilance this story could never have been perpetrated.

During the 1997 Christmas season Ed wrote a second short story in the style of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, “A Study In Slot Cars” to share with the HO Slot Car Distribution List. Clay of Speedway Hobbies has published it on his WWW site.
